Mantra Meditation with Chrissy
HOMEWORK: Instead of a reading, I’m mixing it up with a fun Kid-Friendly version of How Ganesh got his Elephant head, i found this really cute and was curious to see how they would spin a child’s version. CLICK HERE to watch (3 mins!)

Ashtanga Practice: Focus on Five Elements of Ashtanga through Sun Salutes and Standing with Chrissy. You can review the five elements of practice on pg 10 of your YTT manual.

Asana’s 1-at-a-time: REVIEW and new assignment! These asanas are also typed out in your YTT manual, in the same order, starting on page 26.
HOMEWORK: Pick 1 asana from the playlist and research, use at least 3 sources including the Youtube video from me. What do you learn? Any contradictions? Finally, Upload a photo to our media album of you in your favorite version of this particular asana, and email Chrissy your research/sources! **300 hr students will get an additional Practice Teaching assignment once this email is received.

HOMEWORK: Choose 1 Yama and leave it in the comments on the recording above. Contemplate and journal. Be prepared to discuss/reflect on this for Saturday morning’s session!
READ Sutras 35-39 from Book 2 of Swami Satchidananda’s translation of The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali. CLICK HERE for a copy of the reading.
