Mantra Meditation with Chrissy. 1 hr, YTT1.
Journal Prompt: Consider mantra as vibration. Vibration effects everything differently. How does mantra effect your body? Mind? Spirit? Have you experienced different vibrations from different mantras? Or do they all feel the same? What vibrations (or sounds) beyond mantra have provided a similar experience for you?
Ashtanga Practice: first half of Primary Series with Chrissy. 1.5 hrs, YTT1.
HOMEWORK: WATCH this fun Kid-Friendly version of How Ganesh got his Elephant head, I found this really cute and was curious to see how they would spin a child’s version. CLICK HERE to watch (3 mins!)
RESEARCH Ganesha stories, or the stories of another deity. We’ve only met Ganesh, Durga and Chamundi so far in our mantras, but maybe you know of others already! These stories can be written, visual or audio versions…

PRACTICE this Identity Meditation technique featuring Nikita Patel. .5 hr, YTT1.
THEN Record a video, minimum 60 seconds, introducing yourself and why you practice yoga. Consider where yoga falls into your identity. UPLOAD this video to our media album. .5 hr, YTT4.
WATCH: The 8 Limbs and our family/philosophy tree with Chrissy. Lineage Part 1. CREATE: a visual representation of your own being, feel free to include important places and philosophies or values (like the 8 limb tree on p 52) as well people like the lineage chart (p 50) and/or any other strong influences on your sense of self… Upload a photo of this to Google media album! 1.5 hrs, YTT4.
