Please PRACTICE Ashtanga with us. CLASSICALLY, I forgot to hit “record” this morning before Ashtanga (practice was really fun tho, and it’s been GREAT seeing your faces and/or names on the screen again. I think that’s why I forgot, I was so excited, THANK YOU) So here is an Intro to Ashtanga practice from our 100 hour intensive earlier this year, filmed in January 2024, ENJOY! 1.5 hrs, YTT1.
Asana’s 1-at-a-time: WATCH: Dandasana! Plus a look at some of the options for vinyasas to and from seated. DANDA means “staff” or “stick”
HOMEWORK: Practice Dandasana and UPLOAD a photo to our YTT media album, CLICK HERE. If you’re not used to this process, no one is! It takes practice and always feels scary the first time. Check out the media already uploaded for some peer support. You can use self timer or grab a friend or use a screenshot from a video. HAVE FUN!

“The Good Egg” Sun Salute for Kids with Stephanie There are many variation of Sun Salutes out there, for kids AND adults!
THE ASSIGNMENT: Memorize one of the above options, or create your own version of a Sun Salute. PRACTICE TEACH to somebody, and/or by recording a video. UPLOAD your video to our YTT media album, CLICK HERE.

SATURDAY September 21, Day 3
PRACTICE Svadisthana (Sacral) Chakra MEDITATION, 45 mins, YTT1.
PRACTICE a Sacral/Svadisthana themed VINYASA with Chrissy. 1 hr, YTT1.
Watch + Listen + COMMENT to Contribute: A discussion on Chakras and Karma with Chrissy.
WRITE: Consider the types of KARMA and their implications for things like “change”, “fate” or “identity”. The word EMPOWERMENT is often associated with the feelings of enlightenment or realization. WRITE A DRAFT of a BLOG post or PUBLIC JOURNAL explaining Karma as you understand it and as it applies to you. EMAIL this to Chrissy. 1.5 hrs, YTT3.
HOMEWORK: Use the CHAKR(A)natomy chart on the final page of your YTT manual….
CHOOSE 1 of the 7 major Chakras to study a bit more.
LEARN about the physical, energetic and spiritual qualities of this CHAKRA. Use books, podcasts, the internet, any resources at all!
CREATE an ASANA SEQUENCE relevant to this Chakra. **Must include a minimum of 10 asanas! Take a photo or upload a screenshot of your notes for this sequence here to our YTT media album, CLICK HERE.
