The Rise + Vibe School of Yoga returns to the

Welcome to our Intensive Training in Cabarete, Dominican Republic. We are offering 3-weeks of dynamic yoga study and a total of 200 hours LIVE in-person training with Chrissy Lefavour. Certifications available at 200, 300 and 500 hours recognized by Yoga Alliance as well as YACEP continuing ed hours for registered yoga teachers.
***Additional hours are offered during ongoing trainings 3+ times/year, alongside our virtual Higher Education platform which is available to students 24/7!
About Chrissy
Chrissy has been teaching yoga since 2012 and leading trainings since 2016. Her teaching philosophy is guided by creating access to yoga in all forms both within ourselves and our communities. Her businesses have been built upon loving kindness and hard-work in practice.
Classes with Chrissy include: mantra, pranayama, Ashtanga, restorative, Yoga Nidra, kids yoga, marketing tools, ancient history, cultural connection, social action, professionalism, philosophy, pranic anatomy and much more!
About The Surf Lodge
El Encuentro Surf Lodge is a unique boutique concept offering Double Rooms, Superior Studios, Beach Bungalows and Vacation Villas.
All located in front, or in walking distance of Playa Encuentro between Cabarete and Sosúa at the marvelous north coast of the Dominican Republic. Playa Encuentro is perfect for surfers of all levels and consists of five surf breaks. Find your inner self and explore all those little sandy bays at the seemingly endless Caribbean beach. Make unforgettable memories on a hike, mountain bike tour, sightseeing day, scuba diving, or a kayak adventure. Whatever you decide to do, we will do our best to make your stay unforgettable.
A day at YTT Intensive with Rise + Vibe School of Yoga:
6 am - Morning Meditation
7-8:30 am - Asana Practice
8:30-9:30 am - Morning Lecture/Discussion/Daily Journal
9:30 am - BRUNCH is served
10-11 am - Siesta, rest, digest, catch-up, pool swim, beach walk, nap, etc….
11 am-5 pm - YTT educational categories: classes vary inc. discussions/lectures/readings/teachings on Anatomy, Philosophy, Professional Development, History, Culture, Physiology, Marketing, Teachnique, Social Action, Method, Best Practices and much more…
5-6 pm Asana Practice
6-6:30 pm Evening Meditation
6:45 pm DINNER
Training days are *typically* Monday-Friday. Saturdays and Sundays will be left for leisure, either resting at the retreat center or adventuring around the DR on excursion!
WHAT’S INCLUDED:
Nourishing daily meals made fresh with local ingredients (most dietary needs can be met; vegan, vegetarian and animal protein options available!)

Our accommodations at the villa are reserved for arrival on Sunday May 5th and departure on May 25th, the days before and after the course. Additional nights can be booked at the hotel thru our reservation, just ask!
Flights are into Puerto Plata POP (about 30 minutes by taxi) or Santiago STI (about 90 minutes by taxi)… We’re happy to arrange your airport transfer and group you with other travelers!

Double = Reg $4800 / Early Bird $4400
Single = Reg $5600 / Early Bird $5200
Early bird pricing: SAVE $400 when you enroll before January 31, 2024.
50% deposit to confirm booking. Final payment due no later than 30 days prior (April 5, 2024). We can set up payment plans as well! There are also a few LGBTQ+, BIPOC and veterans scholarships available. Please inquire about any and all funding options… All payments are non-refundable, but usually transferable!
